IF THE SHOE FITS, WORK IT

When i was a sophomore at Wake Forest University I worked off-campus at a woman's clothing store. One day, a smartly dressed customer from New York came in looking to buy a pair of navy pumps.  After talking a bit about this and that she said, "you'd be really good at advertising."  I didn't know what that meant, being good at advertising. But it sounded a lot more interesting than being good at accounting. Or insurance. Turns out, the shoe fit.
